I am going to make this blog into an educational one. =D
Not really. Just. I have nothing exactly to blog about, therefore, educational stuff.
Nicci, my sister, whose name is actually Nicole but we call her Nicci for short, and I decided that we would start a book called the "Libra Factable". haha..The name pretty much tells you where we got the "educational" stuff from. It's great stuff.

1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.. I know where my watch is pal, where is yours?

2. People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the T.V. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the channel manually.

3 When people say 'Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too'. Duh! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say 'it's always the last place you look'. Of course it is. Why the heck would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they? Gonna Kick their asses!

5 .When people say while watching a film 'did you see that?'. No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the darn floor.

6 . People who ask 'Can I ask you a question?'... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7 . When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8 .When people say 'life is short'. What the hell?? Life is the longest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

Went to FGA Melbourne. Saw familiar faces! haha..Like,

Nadia? I hope that is how you spell her name. haha..

And Shu Xian!

haha..We were all taking pictures, Ryan decided to take one with his imaginary friend.

We were at the petrol station. I had the camera, Ryan had the sweets. What else to do? Take many pictures! haha..

Stopped to visit Raynu! I was sleeping though..ahha..;)

Funny story. We were driving to.Forgot what the place was called. But yeah..we were driving and driving. And we were all either sleeping or something. Then suddenly dad shouts and he pulls over. Everyone gets up wondering what was happening.

The headlights weren't working. Had to call them people..Don't know what they are called. They came and fixed up the lights so we could continue to drive. Funny! And while we were waiting, pictures!

I had to take a picture with the van. Was funny!

We were too tired to go out and eat. Dinner and dessert at home made by Scott Lim with the help of Nicci, Pearl and Su Lin! Joey and Jessie Goh joined us for dinner too!

Monday

Oh yes. Warning everyone! Kelsey, for some reason had a really bad face day the first few days of her trip. So her face in many pictures are extremely retarded! please be nice..Thank you!

Ryan..We were in the car for 6 hours straight before we stopped to eat.

Sheena and Ryan.(Sheena was known as the "marathon runner" the whole trip because of that outfit..)

After about another 4-5 hours of driving we arrived at Scott and Su Lin's place where Nicci, Sheena and I were staying. Relaxed there for a while and had pasta, made by Scott. Then in the evening we tried to go to this place but it was packed! But pictures were still taken...

There were 4 little children in the year 1996. 2 boys and 2 girls. Sarah, Joel, Cedric and Kelsey.
They were inseparable! They did everything together! Went everywhere together! (well, obviously! parents went somewhere together and we would too right?!) They played mummy and daddy together, played "masak masak", all those little kiddy games!

One bright, sunny day, all 4 children were playing in Kelsey's living room. They were playing one of their usual games. Kelsey, being the sneaky little girl she was(and still can be) thought she would trick her friends..

Kelsey: You know, my mummy said that robbers can break down the door and come and take us away??
Cedric: Really??? cooL! (tries to sound all manly, even from that young age!)
Sarah and Joel: Responded but I don't remember what.;)

The little children kept on playing their games. But one of them, had the thought constantly on his mind. Worried and afraid that someone would come and take him away, but he kept it all inside.

The oh so beautiful day had passed. It was time for the parents to come home. But kids being kids, were having so much fun they didn't realise the time!

A push on the door and Cedric is up on his feet! "ROBBERS!!!", he yelled with tears streaming down his face. The more the door moved, the more tears streamed down. "I don't want them to take me! I want my mummy!"......

Kelsey sat on the floor with her 2 other friends, shocked, terrified and amazed at the hilarious reaction she got from her dearest friend Cedric..

(This story is slightly modified because it happened when Kelsey was 4!)

aahahahahahahah!! I know it's probably not as funny reading it, but it was HILARIOUS! When i was reminded of it, I could NOT stop laughing! hahaha...

There is more to Cedric than people think! He is much more gullible than you think..

Our real roots...A history lesson that needs to be told....

Did you know that 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were orthodox, deeply committed Christians? The other three all believed in the Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention.

It is the same congress that formed the American Bible Society. Immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation.

Patrick Henry, who is called the firebrand of the American Revolution, is still remembered for his words, 'Give me liberty or give me death.' But in current textbooks the context of these words is deleted. Here is what he said: 'An appeal to arms and the God of hosts is all that is left us. But we shall not fight our battle alone. There is a just God that presides over the destinies of nations. The battle sir, is not of the strong alone. Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it almighty God. I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death.'

These sentences have been erased from our textbooks.

Was Patrick Henry a Christian? The following year, 1776, he wrote this 'It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here.'

Consider these words that Thomas Jefferson wrote on the front of his well- worn Bible: 'I am a Christian, that is to say a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. Consider these words from George Washington, the Father of our Nation, in his farewell speech on September 19, 1796:

Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.'

Was George Washington a Christian? Consider these words from his personal prayer book: 'Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the lamb and purge my heart by the Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in thy fear, and dying in thy favor, I may in thy appointed time obtain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. Consider these words by John Adams, our second president, who also served as chairman of the American Bible Society.

In an address to military leaders he said, 'We have no government armed with the power capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and true religion. Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.'

How about our first Court Justice, John Jay? He stated that when we select our national leaders, if we are to preserve our Nation, we must select Christians. ' Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian Nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.'

John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, was the sixth U.S. President.
He was also the chairman of the American Bible Society, which he considered his highest and most important role. On July 4, 1821, President Adams said, 'The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.'

Calvin Coolidge, our 30th President of the United States reaffirmed this truth when he wrote, 'The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.'

In 1782, the United States Congress voted this resolution: 'The congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools.'

William Holmes McGuffey is the author of the McGuffey Reader, which was used for over 100 years in our public schools with over 125 million copies sold until it was stopped in 1963. President Lincoln called him the 'Schoolmaster of the Nation.'

Listen to these words of Mr. McGuffey: 'The Christian religion is the religion of our country. From it are derived our notions on character of God, on the great moral Governor of the universe. On its doctrines are founded the peculiarities of our free institutions. From no source has the author drawn more conspicuously than from the sacred Scriptures. From all these extracts from the Bible I make no apology.'

Of the first 108 universities founded in America , 106 were distinctly Christian, including the first Harvard University ,chartered in 1636. In the original Harvard Student Handbook rule number 1 was that students seeking entrance must know Latin and Greek so that they could study the scriptures:
'Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life, John 17:3; and therefore to lay Jesus Christ as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdom, let everyone seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of him (Proverbs 2:3).

'For over 100 years, more than 50% of all Harvard graduates were pastors!

It is clear from history that the Bible and the Christian faith, were foundational in our educational and judicial system. However in 1947, there was a radical change of direction in the Supreme Court.

Here is the prayer that was banished:'Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on Thee. We beg Thy blessings upon us and our parents and our teachers and our country.Amen.'

In 1963, the Supreme Court ruled that Bible reading was outlawed as unconstitutional in the public school system. The court offered this justification: 'If portions of the New Testament were read without explanation, they could and have been psychologically harmful to children.'

Bible reading was now unconstitutional , though the Bible was quoted 94 percent of the time by those who wrote our constitution and shaped our Nation and its system of education and justice and government.

In 1965, the Courts denied as unconstitutional the rights of a student in the public school cafeteria to bow his head and pray audibly for his food.

In 1980, Stone vs. Graham outlawed the Ten Commandments in our public schools.
The Supreme Court said this:
'If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments were to have any effect at all, it would be to induce school children to read them. And if they read them, meditated upon them, and perhaps venerated and observed them, this is not a permissible objective.'

Is it not a permissible objective to allow our children to follow the moral principles of the Ten Commandments?

James Madison, the primary author of the Constitution of the United States , said this: 'We have staked the whole future of our new nation, not upon the power of government; far from it. We have staked the future of all our political constitutions upon the capacity of each of ourselves to govern ourselves according to the moral principles of the Ten Commandments.'

Today we are asking God to bless America . But how can He bless a Nation that has departed so far from Him?

Most of what you read in this article has been erased from our textbooks. Revisionists have rewritten history to remove the truth about our country's Christian roots. I , Mary Jones, the designer of this web page, encourage all who read and agree with the words herein, to share it with others, so that the truth of our nation's history may be told.

A very FUNNY story to tell you here! ahhahaha..sigh! I'm laughing already! hahaha..Robyn and I had bought Annabelle and Chanelle's present right. Just before. So we wanted to write and wrap and all that. Went to the toilet to do it. Obviously we went into the same cubicle la. Wrapping it together right? Then someone came in..

My immediate thought was, "oh no! what are they going to think!" I yelled at Robyn, "GET ON THE BOWL! THE BOWL! GET ON THE TOILET BOWL!" ahahahhahahahahaha...And she was trying to get on it..TRYING! She was laughing so hard! Oh my gosh! And we were trying to laugh as softly as possible so whoever came in wouldn't hear us.

Well..That person didn't hear us laughing. That person thought we were CRYING! And that person was SOPHIE! She seriously cracked us up SO MUCH MORE!
Sophie: Are you ok?
Robyn and I: Laughing so hard!!!

Been on the internet for an hour or 2. Doing school work, as well as on myspace and msn...

I thought I'd listen to songs on the laptop, radio was playing the dodgiest songs possible, Ecstasy!

Myspace profiles was a good suggestion. I decided to visit profiles, to see what songs they had.

But when I went to profiles, I couldn't hear a thing!
The songs were so SOFT!

I went to the volume control.. All the volume's were high. Something seemed fishy, something was wrong.

I couldn't be bothered taking a look into the situation. Work needed to be done.

An hour later.........

A friend named Robyn, asked me to visit her myspace profile, listen to her new song. According to her, it's an amazing song. I was tempted...

I visited her profile, I could hear a sound. I heared little voices, very soft, faint, little voices. Singing along to a tune. But that was all I could hear. It was too soft!

"Damn! Sheena's (my cousin) laptop speakers are seriously stuffed!" I said..When a bright idea came to mind.

I had headphones in my drawer. I took it, and plugged in into the laptop. Expecting to hear something, anything! All expectations were broken, for I didn't hear anything. Not even faint voices.

Disappointed, I unplugged the headphones. The little voices, I could hear them again! I plugged the headphones back in, but the voices disappeared.

Perplexed, I unplugged and plugged the headphones, trying to figure out what was wrong. There was something wrong and mysterious.

"ARGH! Why can't I hear the song! What is going on? This is scarying me! What are these voices?" I thought to myself. Shivers and goosebumps, trembling and shaking I was.

I said out loud, " What in the world is going o........" when I saw a button. A very suspicious button. Heart-racing a hundred miles an hour.. I reach for it.....Finger getting closer and closer. Heart beating faster and faster.

I took a leap of faith and pressed the button.......

Nothing happened....I let out a sigh of relief.

'With his arms around me, Jeremy whispered, “The only thing we can do now is kill them, you know that.”' Hahaha...You read the start of that sentence and you'd think that something mushy and romantic is coming right? haha..Pretty funny. But yeah..Been writing this story for English. So stressful ok. My teacher said, Approximately 500 words. I've done double the amount! ahha..I've got 1000 words. I've been erasing and rephrasing sentences so there would be less words. Sigh...
Last night was fun! Didn't eat much..But had good fun. We had a food night at Solid..Had Pizza and hot chips! Yum...Then had ice-cream! hahaha..Food brings people together!...ahhaha
Misha, Ryan and I went to the park the other day. Dad and mum sat in the car while we went around playing.

We played this random game where someone had to lie in the middle of the slide and the other had to try and grab you up to the top..Pretty funny! hahaha

ok..So yeah..I was lying at the bottom of the slide..Talking to Ryan and Mish. Dad calls us, letting us know he wants to go. All my stuff are at the top of the slide. Being my lazy self, I climb up the slide instead of going around and up the stairs.

See, I knew this thing was there ok! I knew it was there! But for some weird reason, it slipped my mind! What a wrong time to slip! I walk up the slide..and I turn. Full force! With full on energy. I turn!!

BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know this is only my 181st post..How sad is that?
And I've had this blog for 2-3 years already!
ahhaha...

Anyway...My brother had a bunch of the asian boys over at our place today with Dave Hall and Luke Kero..The leaders..They played, ps3 and xbox the whole afternoon! Had pizza and all..Who had to clean up?? ME! ahhaa.. All the spilled coke and pizza on the ground and all..Punch them in the face!..But I did need to clean it..I felt the need to do something because.....

I pampered myself!!! Yeah I know..Well I was planning to go all out and do my nails and face and hair and all..But no...My hair needs a hair cut..That's all! ahha..My nails were done but it took up so much time I didn't get to do my face! ahhaha...

Yeah..I filed it and everything. Just wanted to put a clear nail polish. Asked Sheen if she had any but she didn't. She goes, oh I don't have a clear one or a nail strengthener. But I have a cuticle remover. I think that will do.. Me: Oh yeah! That would be ok...*pauses*...Sheen..What's cuticles??

ahahhaha..! Felt like such a loser! But I was right! I guessed what it was..Then I took it and put it and washed my hands and all..Went back to her room and showed her. She goes, did you put a little bit or a lot? I said, A little bit la..Sheen, supposed to put a lot la! Come let me do for you...hahaha..haiyo..funny funny..

So she did it for me. Then she painted my nails. Then she painted my toe nails. Then we experimented and it looks quite cooL! ahhaha.. Needs a touch up tough.. I accidentally bit off a bit of nail polish on my finger. Put the chicken in my mouth, but my thumb was with the chicken so when I bit it the nail polish came off.. hahaha.. funny!

Yup! It was fun and good.. Bonding time with Sheena. Now, I have painted nails! After who knows how many years man! I have not painted my nails in more than 2-3 years! ahhaha.. Hilarious! Oh well...

So excited about tomorroW!! Weee.. Jumper here I come!
